I learned that we should keep our beach clean for others to enjoy. I helped by picking up the litter left behind by people over the weekends. Having a picnic there was a memorable moment. I hope that I could clean up the beach together with my classmates and teachers again! Thanks for the trip!
On Monday, 9 November 2009, we went to East Coast Park to pick up litters at the beach. We reached there at about 9am. We picked up some bones, cigarette butts, wooden sticks, small pieces of paper and others. Our group picked up the most number of wooden sticks and small pieces of glass. After picking up the litter, we had a small ‘picnic’. We enjoyed it much. It was fun.
The people who left the litter behind are very inconsiderate. Apparently, there were smokers there as we found many cigarette butts there. We should try our best to keep the environment clean. This trip is memorable as we rarely go to the beach to pick up litter and it is a once in a lifetime experience. I learnt that keeping the beach and the environment clean is very important as littering will cause land pollution and water pollution. It may harm the marine life. We should do our part and not litter.
We learned from the beach cleaning that we should not litter as it can polluted the places around us and harm the other organisms. It also bring inconvenience to the cleaners. The pinic is the most memorable during the beach cleaning.
It was very exciting and meaningful trip to East Coast Park for beach cleaning. Now then we have realised that East Coast Park is still dirty even though the cleaners have cleaned it daily. We have now leant that keeping the beach clean is difficult, but if we do our part by not littering, the park would be a better lace. By doing this, it will keep the environment clean. I hope that our school will organise more of such trips in the future.
I think it's a meaningful trip as we learnt how hard the workers work to pick the litter.We must learn that we should not litter as it not only increases the burden o picking the litte for other people but it is also harmful to the environment in many ways.
The beach cleaning activity was a wonderful experience for me. We get to clean up the beach. The beach wasn't filled with trash, but e did collect many things. Including, wood, plastic, and many more. I hope that we could have more activites like this in the future.

a. I have learnt that I need to make our country clean and green, and not only our own country, also other countries too. What i have learnt not only can help me to pick up litters on the ground when I saw any on the ground when walking.
b. The memorable part of this trip is that we can have our break after picking up the litters. We can eat what we had brought and had our drinks. It was really a wonderful trip!
